  • I can't see anything wrong with Boularouz being sent off after his elbow challenge? Figo could only have avoided it if he hadn't run for the ball. As a side note I think the ref should have sent Figo and Van Bommel off for their litte in-fight - Bommel pushes Figo and he responds with a headbutt.

  • I can't see why Sepp Blatter should mock the match's referee. It is Fifa that has outlined this very strict guideline for refereeing the WC games. I think the referee tried his best to stop the disgraceful display of both teams early in the game by awarding 4 yellow card within the first 30 mins.

  • Why wouldn't you see the Koreans advance to the next round? The Korean team is not the most impressive team - players or style of play, but they kept a high pace and fought through the entire 90 mins.

  • Domenech seemed strangely pacified the second half of the game - he should clearly have sub'ed in Trez when the Koreans equalized.

  • A reason could be that Adobe was releasing a free version of their Acrobat to compete with XPS. Personally I use PDFCreator - an open source alternative to the very expensive Acrobat application
